Maryland is steeped in history. Sites of interest include the Ocean City Boardwalk, Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum, Fort McHenry, Antietam National Battlefield, and USS Constellation.

Baltimore’s Inner Harbor district guarantees a good time with museums, restaurants, shops and more. Love to cruise the high seas? A variety of cruise lines depart from there as well.

Baltimore’s National Aquarium is considered one of the finest aquariums in the U.S. Visitors to Annapolis can go to the U.S. Naval Academy Museum, renowned for its collection of model ships; sail the Chesapeake Bay; or indulge in some of the oysters the city is famous for.

Maryland also hosts three major league teams: Baltimore's Orioles (baseball) and Ravens (football), as well as the NFL's Washington Redskins, who play their home games outside the District of Columbia in Landover, Md. Several minor league and semipro teams also call Maryland home.
