As an association of current and former officers who took an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States, MOAA is troubled by the on-going events across our nation. 

As MOAA members we share the universal principle that all people are created equal and entitled as Americans to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness.  We know there is no place in the military community or in American society for racism, bigotry, and hatred. 

There is no taking sides when it comes to these fundamental principles.  The way ahead will require all of us to work together as a country to heal the divides and address the root causes of these incidents so we can ensure a free, safe, prosperous, and secure country for future generations.
