Ralph Charlip is a Certified Myers Briggs Professional and the president and founder of Inspiration Creek Management Consultants, a VA-certified service-disabled veteran-owned small business.
He is a retired member of the Federal Senior Executive Service and was most recently the Department of Labor Veterans' Employment and Training Service (VETS) deputy assistant secretary for operations and management, where he managed $226 million and led 225 employees.
Prior to leading VETS, Ralph worked at the Department of the Interior specializing in human capital at both the department level and at the U.S. Geological Survey. He served in the Office of Human Resources at the Department of Agriculture and was the deputy administrator for management at the Food and Nutrition Service before coming to the Department of the Interior.
Prior to that position, he was the chief of compliance, chief of emergency services, and chief of integrated ethics for the VA's Veterans Integrated Service Network in Denver. Before that, he served as director of the VA Health Administration Center.
Ralph joined the VA after completing 22 years as an Air Force Medical Service Corps officer. He holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science-International Relations and an master's degree in public administration from the University of Arizona. Ralph is also a graduate of the Air War College, George Washington University's Interagency Institute for Federal Healthcare Executives, VHA's Health Care Leadership Institute and VA's Leadership VA.
