Amanda Centers, CFRE

Amanda Centers has over 15 years of association management experience centered on fundraising, grant making, crisis relief, and professional development services for servicemembers and veterans, along with their families and survivors.

 

Centers currently oversees both of MOAA’s 501 (c)(3) charities, the MOAA Scholarship Fund and The MOAA Foundation. These charities combined provide over $12 million in support and services annually.

Career Highlights

  • Revitalized MOAA’s Military Spouse Professional Development program, which received an ASAE award and several award nominations shortly thereafter. This program also generated support from leaders at the national level, including the White House, and led to the signing of an executive order by the president creating an expedited federal hiring process for active duty military spouses
  • Appointed by the administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration as a member of the Executive Ordered Interagency Task Force on Veterans Small Business Development
