Maj. Sharron A. Mackey, USAF (Ret)

Maj. Sharron A. Mackey, USAF (Ret), entered the Air Force in 1982 and served in an active status until 1992. Following her separation, she entered the Air Force Reserve, serving until her retirement in 2004.

 

She earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice/mass communications from the University of Alabama, a master’s degree in public administration, and a master’s degree in health services management from Golden Gate University.

 

In her civilian professional career, she served in key leadership roles in the health affairs sector, including Foundation Health Systems, where she managed the delivery of health care to TRICARE beneficiaries; National Medical Director, Coran Health Systems; Director of Contracting, Children First Medial Group; and Chief Executive Officer, Contra Costa Health Plan Services.
