Col. Myles B. Caggins III, USA (Ret)

Col. Myles B. Caggins III, USA (Ret), earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Hampton University, a master’s degree in public relations from Georgetown University, and he completed the yearlong National Security Fellowship at Harvard Kennedy School.

 

He is a second-generation U.S. Army officer with over 26 years of service. He served three combat tours in Iraq. He is a senior fellow at the New Lines Institute for Strategy and Policy focused on public information warfare, Middle East, and military affairs; he also is an international affairs commentator on Arabic and Kurdish-language media networks. 

 

He has led strategic communications at the Pentagon, the White House, and U.S. Army posts. He is a life member in the Council on Foreign Relations.
