Chapter Activities

Chapter activities include regularly scheduled board meetings, general membership meetings and luncheons, annual picnic, and service projects to benefit our men and women in uniform and our communities at large. Our premier service project is sponsorship of an annual golf scramble, the proceeds of which go to an organization serving our active duty, Reserve and National Guard, and veterans. Other projects include support to the Fort Detrick Chapel food bank, a sponsored trap shoot for wounded warriors, as well as service activities by individual members in their respective communities, e.g. Veterans Day speakers. We publish a bi-monthly newsletter to keep members apprised of Chapter affairs, upcoming events, and important legislative information. We also maintain an email distribution list for members with email.
