The Georgia Mountain Chapter shall promote the purposes and objectives of the Military Officers Association Of America. It shall foster fraternal relations among retired, active, and former officers of the uniformed services to include all National Guard and Reserve components and their families. Our chapter activities shall help protect the rights and interests of all active duty, retired, and former members of the active, Reserve, and National Guard components of all uniformed services and their dependents and survivors. A major focus of our Chapter activities includes community services of primary benefit to all current and former uniformed service personnel and their dependents, survivors, and family members.

PLEASE JOIN US! Membership in the MOAA Chapter is open to anyone who holds or has ever held a commission or warrant in any component of the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Public Health Service or National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and their surviving spouses. If you are already a member of MOAA, you can join our chapter for only $25 per year. If you are not already a member of MOAA, the annual dues are $43 for national membership. Adding $25 for chapter membership brings your total is only $68 per year. Our Georgia Mountain Chapter supports the MOAA national legislative agenda. We regularly invite our Federal, State, and local elected representatives to speak to the chapter. Additionally, we invite a broad spectrum of local law enforcement and civic leaders as well as leaders of commercial development to address our membership. The chapter is also very active in supporting the state and various other military and veterans' groups and individuals.

We meet Jan-May and Sep-Nov at 1130 hours at the Golden Corral Restaurant in Cumming, GA. Occasionally we have special meetings at other locations with other groups. We meet to socialize and enjoy each other's company as well as to hear interesting speakers from our community and conduct a little business. Please join us. (Note: We do not have regular meetings in June, July, August, or December.) Our community and Veterans support service activities are varied.
