Military spouses can share their employment experiences as part of a survey being conducted by Hiring Our Heroes, a part of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation that works to connect veterans and military spouses with civilian employers.
Spouses of servicemembers, as well as spouses of veterans who retired or separated within the last three years, are invited to take the survey regardless of employment status. The results of the survey will be used to help Hiring Our Heroes refine tools and programs it offers to improve work-related well-being outcomes for military spouses.
Those programs include partnering with the MOAA Foundation on "Keeping a Career on the Move®" Military Spouse Symposia.
The confidential survey is a collaboration between Hiring Our Heroes and the Institute for Veterans and Military Families at Syracuse University. The survey asks participants questions about employment, military family lifestyle factors, wellbeing, mental health, and physical health, among other things.
The survey closes July 10. Each participant will be asked to enter into a random drawing for a $200 Amazon gift card. Click here to participate, and here for more information.
