A 1978 graduate of West Point, Savino served in Korea, Germany, and the U.S. After completing his military service, Savino launched Corporate Gray, a company focused on helping transitioning servicemembers of all ranks and service branches gain civilian employment. He and his team have been providing free career transition services to the military community for over 25 years. Savino also served as director of career advisory services for the West Point Society of DC for 20 years.

LATEST EFFORTS
Savino has shared the many lessons he learned during his own transition through the publication of The Military-to-Civilian Transition Guide, which had its beginnings in a presentation he gave to fellow officers before leaving the Army. One of the lessons that he shares is that the traits and characteristics that make for a successful military career are the same traits that will make for a successful civilian career.

HOW HIS SERVICE SUPPORTS MOAA'S MISSION
Savino and his Corporate Gray team have helped many military officers and other servicemembers make a successful career transition through their military-focused job fairs, employment website, and career transition book.

'By leveraging the many connections you have made over your military career, you'll find that the job search process will be easier and more successful. After you secure that new position, be sure to reach back and help another transitioning servicemember in their job search!'
