The Military Officers Association of America and the Department of Defense presented the 2018 Reserve Family Readiness Award to 7 Reserve and National Guard Units during a ceremony that took place at the Pentagon Hall of Heroes on Friday.

The award honors Reserve and National Guard Units that go above and beyond to establish effective military family support programs. This includes innovative efforts to build community support, trailblazing programs that support the unit's mission and family readiness, and overall command involvement in the program.

In addition to the award, MOAA donated $1,000 to each unit to further their Family Readiness Programs in 2019.
