Director, Military Family Policy and Spouse Programs


Eryn Wagnon came to MOAA in May 2018 as a military spouse fellow sponsored by the Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program. She joined the MOAA staff permanently in July 2018 and curretly serves as MOAA's director of government relations for military family policy and spouse programs.

Wagnon holds a Master of Arts in Social Science from Georgia Southern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Spanish from Stetson University. Her background includes expertise in social research, cultural sociology, symbolic interactionism, and military sociology. She has also conpleted in-depth research on foreign affairs topics and has published work on privatized immigration detention systems.

Prior to joining MOAA, Wagnon taught sociology as an adjunct faculty member at Georgia Southern University and University of South Carolina- Aiken.

Wagnon is a native Floridian and the spouse of an active duty Army officer.
