COL Evert R. Hawk II, US Army, graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1993 with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration/Finance. He graduated from Saint Joseph’s University in 1997 with a Masters in Business Administration and from the US Army War College in 2019 with a Masters in Strategic Studies. He has also completed several executive education certificate programs involving entrepreneurship, risk management and strategic decision making, and change management. He holds numerous professional certifications, to include the Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Professional – Project Management Institute (ACP-PMI), and Black Belt Lean Six Sigma certifications.
He earned his commission while attending Officer Candidate School in 1993 and has served in the Army National Guard since 1989. He spent his career working as a consultant in the US defense and intelligence community. He is a qualified Signal and Intelligence Officer. He served on multiple combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Currently, he serves full-time as a Colonel (O-6) for the US Army Futures Command at the Network Cross Functional Team.
He has been an MOAA LIFE Member since 2006.
